Job Description Vice President – Business Head (Investments) to lead the firm's business origination, transaction execution, and portfolio management functions.
n Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and closing high-quality investment opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, leading a high-performing team, and representing the firm across the real estate and investment ecosystem. This role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, investment judgment, leadership, and execution excellence.

n Key Responsibilities
n Business Origination & Relationship Management
n * Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the firm's investment objectives.
n * Originate structured debt and AIF investment opportunities with real estate developers.
n * Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, investment bankers, IPC's and strategic intermediaries.
n * Create and manage a robust pipeline of investment opportunities.
n Transaction Execution
n * Lead end-to-end execution of transactions from origination through financial close.
n * Structure financing solutions in collaboration with internal investment teams.
n * Negotiate commercial terms, transaction structures, security packages, and definitive documentation.
n * Coordinate with legal, technical, valuation, and other advisors to ensure seamless execution.
n * Drive transactions to successful closure while maintaining the highest standards of governance and risk management.
n Investment Evaluation
n * Review financial models, project cash flows, and investment analyses prepared by the investment team.
n * Evaluate project viability, credit risks, and transaction structures.




n * Prepare and present investment proposals and recommendations before the Investment Committee (IC).
n Portfolio Management
n * Monitor portfolio performance post-disbursement, including project progress, covenant compliance, and repayment schedules.
n * Identify emerging portfolio risks and recommend timely mitigation strategies.
n * Work closely with borrowers on restructuring, refinancing, or resolution initiatives, where required.
n * Provide periodic portfolio performance updates to senior management.
n Leadership & Team Management
n * Lead team of 5-7 investment professionals.
n * Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence.
n * Drive business performance through effective planning, coaching, and performance management.
n * 7+ years of experience in real estate finance, structured credit, private credit, AIFs, investment banking, NBFCs, or real estate investment platforms.
n * Demonstrated track record of originating, structuring, and successfully closing real estate financing transactions.
n * Robust relationships within the real estate developer community and investment banking ecosystem.
n * Experience handling transactions ranging from ₹20 crore to ₹100 crore.
n * Sound understanding of structured finance, real estate lending, evaluation, and investment structuring.
n * Experience in portfolio monitoring and asset management.
n * Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

n * CA, CFA, or MBA from a reputed institution.
n * Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
