Role: Lead - Site Land Acquisition & Liaisioning
Experience Required: 12-15 years (preferred recent experience for PSP & Hydropower)
Industry: Hydropower / Pumped Storage Projects

Location: Pimplawada, Karjat, Raigarh/Pune

Key Responsibilities

· Land Identification & Feasibility: Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to identify suitable land for PSPs, considering technical layouts (upper/lower reservoirs) and infrastructure needs. Oversee land identification based on technical micro siting for reservoirs and underground powerhouses.

· Acquisition Management: Lead the purchase or lease of private, government, and forest land. This includes negotiating with landowners and managing land aggregators. Manage the direct purchase of private land and the allotment of Government, Forest, or SC/ST land (which requires specific state-level permissions).

· State-Specific Liaisoning: Act as the primary interface with local, state, authorities (e.g., Revenue, Forest, Mining, and Gram Panchayats, WRD, IDC etc.) to secure necessary permits and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).



Coordinate with the District Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), and Tehsildar for land survey, joint measurement, and demarcation.

· Legal Due Diligence: Oversee title verification, documentation, and the execution of Sale/Lease Deeds to ensure transparent and marketable titles.

· Right of Way (RoW): Resolve RoW issues for transmission corridors and access roads to ensure project timelines are met.

· Dispute Resolution: Mediate land-related disputes and address community or environmental concerns that could impact the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Civil Engineering, Land Management, or Business Administration.

· Experience: Typically, 12 to 15+ years of hands-on experience in land acquisition for renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects.
