Job Description: An RM (Raw Material) Supervisor oversees the receiving, storage, and issuance of raw materials in a manufacturing or production facility. They manage inventory levels, track stock accuracy, enforce safety protocols, and ensure smooth material flow to the production line while coordinating with purchasing and quality assurance teams. Job Title Raw Material (RM) Supervisor Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Raw Material Supervisor to join our facility. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire RM storage area, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials. The ideal candidate will optimize inventory levels, maintain rigorous quality checks, and lead a team of store assistants to support uninterrupted production. Key Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, and verification of raw materials against purchase orders to ensure proper quantity and quality.

- Material Flow: Ensure accurate and timely issuance of raw materials to the production floor, strictly adhering to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles.

- Stock Control: Maintain precise daily stock records and update inventory management systems/registers.

- Replenishment:



Monitor stock levels closely and proactively inform senior management or purchasing teams for re-ordering to prevent material shortages.

- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and supervise a team of storekeepers and helpers. Delegate daily tasks and monitor performance.

- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety and 5S practices within the storage area, keeping the facility clean, organized, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or raw material supervision in a manufacturing environment.

- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for inventory tracking.

- Soft Skills: Robust leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand or walk for extended periods as needed.
