About the Role

We are looking for a motivated US Accounting Specialist to support financial operations for US-based clients. The role involves handling accounting transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Activities

- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Perform bank entries and bank reconciliations
- Book sales and purchase invoices
- Pass journal entries
- Support cash management activities

General Ledger & MIS
- Maintain General Ledger records
- Prepare and share AR/AP ageing reports
- Perform Gross Profit (GP) analysis
- Conduct expense analysis
- Prepare weekly work status reports in Excel

Reporting & Closing
- Prepare financial statements for US-based clients
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities




- Prepare and maintain MIS reports

Client Communication
- Assist in client reporting
- Maintain documentation accuracy as per client formats
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

- B.Com / M.Com
- CA Inter (dropped / appeared )
- ICWA Inter (Dropped / appeared )

Experience:

- 6 months to 2 years of International Accounting / US Accounting / KPO Accounting experience

Technical Skills:

- Robust Excel skills
- Understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Basic understanding of US GAAP concepts
- Exposure to outsourcing/KPO environment
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Good written communication skills
- Ability to work with deadlines
