Job Description:

It is a leading Kolkata-based manufacturer of transmission &distribution; hardware and fencing/construction products, is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
 Supervise daily production activities across hardware and fencing divisions, ensuring targets are met.
 Monitor production processes, optimizing workflows to maintain quality standards and minimize downtime.
 Lead a team of 20-50 workers, providing training, performance feedback, and enforcing safety protocols in line with ISO standards.
 Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, and procurement teams to resolve issues and enhance the quality of products.
 Track KPIs such as output rates, material usage,



and defect rates; prepare daily/weekly reports for management.

Qualifications and Skills
 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field; Diploma holders with 2-5+ years' experience considered.
 3-5 years in manufacturing supervision, preferably in steel fabrication, galvanizing, or T&D;/electrical hardware production.
 Solid knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma basics, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA-equivalent standards).
 Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting; ERP experience (e.g., Tally) a plus.
 Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work in shifts if required.
