Mississippi Christian University of Nursing invites applications for adjunct clinical faculty in Medical-Surgical Nursing . Adjunct faculty play a vital role in preparing skilled, compassionate nurses by facilitating student learning in clinical settings and supporting their development of skilled nursing competencies.
Primary Responsibilities
Facilitate student learning and clinical experiences in assigned nursing settings.
Supervise, guide, and evaluate students during clinical rotations.
Grade associated clinical assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Evaluate student performance based on established course and clinical objectives.
Collaborate with full-time faculty to ensure consistency in course outcomes and clinical expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing required.
Active, unencumbered RN license in Mississippi.
Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in medical-surgical or general nursing practice.
Strong organizational, communication,
and interpersonal skills.
Must satisfy a criminal history background check.
Must be able to meet and provide documentation of all health and compliance requirements as designated by the clinical facility.
