Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology based at Amity University’s Ranchi campus in Jharkhand.

The Assistant

Professor will deliver lectures and seminars in clinical psychology, facilitate experiential learning, and guide learners in applying theoretical concepts to practice.

Responsibilities include designing and updating course curricula, preparing teaching materials,



evaluating assignments and examinations, and providing academic mentoring and guidance. The role also involves conducting and supervising research projects, contributing to publications, participating in departmental and university committees, and engaging in outreach and community-based mental health initiatives as required.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, with the ability to teach core and specialized topics.

Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including classroom instruction and student mentoring.

Proficiency in Curriculum Development for clinical psychology programs, including designing syllabi and assessment methods.

Active interest and experience in Research, particularly in clinical or applied psychology domains.

M.Phil in Clinical Psychology with RCI Registration.

Familiarity with contemporary pedagogical methods, learner-centered teaching, and use of educational technology.

Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary academic teams and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Robust written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to ethical practice and inclusive education.
