Job Summary
The Health &
Safety Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, safety trainings, and promoting a protected working workplace across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
Identify unsafe acts and conditions and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
Conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, and employee awareness training.
Monitor PPE usage and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and statutory documents.
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities such as mock drills and fire safety programs.
Support internal and external audits related to HSE compliance.
Monitor contractor safety compliance at site.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.
Promote safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives across the workplace.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Safety, or Environmental Science.
Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or Industrial Safety preferred.
2–5 years of experience in Health &
Safety operations.
