Role & responsibilities

Manage day-to-day Heat Treatment operations.

Plan production and monitor WIP for on-time delivery.

Optimize furnace, manpower, and equipment utilization.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Sales, Dispatch, and Customers.

Ensure compliance with customer specifications, ISO, and quality standards.

Drive process improvements, CAPA, FMEA, and productivity initiatives.

Oversee preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment reliability.

Lead and develop the Heat Treatment team.

Preferred candidate profile

815 years in Heat Treatment (Vacuum Furnace preferred) in Tool Steel, Alloy Steel, Forging, Automotive, or Engineering industries.

Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership/managerial role.

Annealing, Hardening, Tempering, Normalizing, Stress Relieving & other Heat Treatment processes.

Production Planning (PPC).

Metallurgical knowledge and interpretation of customer specifications.

ERP, MS Office, ISO documentation, CAPA & FMEA.

Robust leadership, customer focus, problem-solving, and communication skills.
