Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IFRS 17 Consultant to support insurance finance transformation and reporting initiatives. The role will focus on IFRS 17 implementation, accounting assessment, process design, testing, and reporting support across finance, actuarial, and technology workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end IFRS 17 implementation and remediation programs.
Analyze business, accounting, and reporting requirements related to IFRS 17.
Assist in designing target finance processes, controls, and reporting workflows.
Work with finance, actuarial, and technology teams to align data, calculations, and disclosures.
Support mapping of source data to reporting outputs and financial statements.
Help prepare functional requirements, testing scenarios, reconciliation packs, and implementation deliverables.
Support SIT, UAT, and validation of IFRS 17 results and outputs.
Identify process gaps, risks, and dependencies across workstreams.
Assist with cutover, go-live, and post-implementation support.




Contribute to client workshops, status reporting, and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Business, or related field.
3+ years of experience in IFRS 17, insurance finance transformation, or related reporting programs.
Strong understanding of IFRS 17 accounting principles and insurance reporting processes.
Experience working with finance, actuarial, and technology stakeholders.
Ability to translate requirements into documentation and testing outputs.
Solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting IFRS 17 implementation in an insurer or consulting workplace.
Knowledge of insurance accounting, actuarial inputs, and financial reporting controls.
Experience with reporting tools, reconciliations, and finance transformation projects.
Skilled certification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA, or actuarial qualification is a plus.
