Job Title: Sheet Metal Design Engineer (SolidWorks) Company: Renuka Infotech Location: Yerrappa Industrial Area, Chennanhalli, Bengaluru Experience: 1 – 3 Years Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering Job Summary: We are looking for a Sheet Metal Design Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks to design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies. The candidate should have practical exposure to fabrication drawings and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities: Design sheet metal components using SolidWorks (Sheet Metal Module). Create 2D fabrication drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and BOM. Develop 3D models and assemblies for sheet metal products. Ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing (laser cutting, bending, welding).



Coordinate with production and quality teams for design improvements. Modify and optimize existing designs based on production feedback. Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions.

Required Skills: Solid hands-on experience in SolidWorks – Sheet Metal. Valuable knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Experience in assembly design and detailing. Valuable problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred: Experience in sheet metal fabrication industry Exposure to shop floor coordination Immediate joiners preferred
