QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum
8 years experience in IP
At least 3 years experience working in IP in the biosimilars industry
Licensed as a patent attorney under Indian Law
BSc in the life sciences field

OBJECTIVE OF THE FUNCTION: SUPPORT THE BU BIOPHARMA IP TEAM BY ASSESSING AND MONITORING PATENT LANDSCAPES FOR BIOSIMILARS.

MAIN TASKS:
Monitoring and surveillance of patent landscapes for approx. 5 pipeline biosimilars. Use PatSnap software.
Freedom to operate (FTO) searches and reports for current pipeline biosimilar candidates.
Prior art searches and patent invalidity assessments.

SECONDARY TASKS:
Due diligence projects:



work with BioPharma IP patent attorneys and scientists to assess FTO of third-party biologics manufacturing process.

OTHER TASKS:
Organize BU BioPharma IP Team databases, files and folders for storing and tracking case law updates and legislative change in various countries.
Assist IP Team in preparing PowerPoint slides for presentations for the business
