Job Summary The PGT Business Studies & Accountancy Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students of Grades XI and XII, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, academic excellence, and holistic student development. The teacher will prepare students for board examinations while fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and practical application of commerce concepts.

Key Responsibilities
Teach Business Studies and Accountancy to Grades XI and XII as per the prescribed curriculum CBSE.
Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, and teaching-learning materials.
Conduct engaging classroom sessions using creative teaching methodologies and digital tools.
Design and evaluate assignments, projects, practical work, unit tests, and examinations.
Prepare students for board examinations through regular assessments, revision sessions, and doubt-clearing classes.
Monitor and maintain students' academic progress and attendance records.
Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), faculty meetings, and school events.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace.




Perform examination-related duties, including paper setting, invigilation, and evaluation.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery and academic outcomes.
Stay updated with the latest teaching practices, curriculum changes, and educational technologies.

Qualifications
Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
Minimum 1 years of teaching experience at the Senior Secondary level (preferred).
Strong knowledge of Business Studies and Accountancy curriculum.
