Role Description This is a full time, in office Reporter role based in Kanyakumari. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information related to Seatrium’s projects, activities, and industry developments, and produce explicit and accurate news stories and features. Daily tasks include conducting interviews, attending briefings or events, developing story ideas, and collaborating with editors and communications teams to meet deadlines.

The role involves creating written and multimedia content suitable for internal publications, digital platforms, and external media, ensuring adherence to editorial standards and organizational guidelines. The Reporter will also monitor industry trends and contribute to content that supports Seatrium’s brand and communication objectives.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, with the ability to produce accurate, timely, and engaging stories.





Candidates should possess excellent Writing and Communication skills for clear, audience-focused content and effective collaboration.

Candidates should possess Multimedia capabilities, including basic skills in video, audio, or digital storytelling tools.

Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, editorial judgment, and the ability to verify facts and sources.

Relevant experience in journalism, corporate communications, or media within technical or industrial sectors is beneficial.

A degree or diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to work in office in Kanyakumari, manage multiple assignments, and meet strict deadlines is essential.

Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and basic understanding of the offshore, marine, or energy industries is an advantage.
