We are seeking a seasoned qualified to lead Strategic Sourcing and Recent Product Development (NPD) initiatives for Electra EV Pune HO. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sourcing engineered components and managing supplier relationships across diverse manufacturing processes across India.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic sourcing activities for sheet metal, fabrication, casting, and plastic molding components, should have knowledge on machine hour rate, commodity knowledge with hand on experience in Automotive and manufacturing organization.
Drive New Product Development (NPD) initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Evaluate and onboard suppliers with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Oversee tooling and die development processes, ensuring alignment with production requirements.
Apply ZBC (Zero-Based Costing)
principles to optimize procurement costs.
Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with company standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing and supply chain operations.
Should have experience on PPAP and manufacturing processes.
Should have knowledge on Purchase Agreement with supplier/s.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier development.
Solid technical understanding of manufacturing processes: sheet metal, casting, plastic molding.
Familiarity with tooling and die design.
Hands-on experience with ZBC costing methodologies.
Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
