Compensation: ₹55,000–₹70,000 per month (₹6.5–8.5 lakh per year).

Job summary

The Marketing & Communications Manager owns Upila's own marketing. This is a dedicated in-house marketing hire, responsible for how Upila markets and presents itself across its owned channels. The role is not a client-delivery or content-as-a-service role, and it is not a strategy only role. It is a hands-on execution role reporting directly to the Founder. Core work includes managing Upila's content calendar, ghost-writing for the Founder, running the company's social and blog channels, and producing case studies.

Key responsibilities
Plan, write, edit, schedule, and publish content across owned channels.
Ghost-write posts and articles for the Founder in the Founder's voice.
Manage the company’s presence on , YouTube, the blog, and Instagram at a consistent cadence.
Produce case studies based on client work.
Brief and coordinate the in-house content,



design, and video editing teams, and engage external resources where required.

Note: This role does not involve video editing or graphic design production. Those functions are handled by dedicated in-house teams.

Required qualifications
2–4 years of hands-on experience in marketing, content, or communications, in-house or agency-side.
Demonstrated experience owning and running a content calendar.
Solid written English across formats (social posts, case studies, blog articles, platform-specific copy).
Demonstrated ghost-writing or executive-voice writing ability (samples required).
Working knowledge of , YouTube, and Instagram as growth channels.
Ability to brief and coordinate designers and video editors.
Ability to manage deadlines independently.

Preferred qualifications
Experience in a digital marketing agency.
Video scripting and visual concept development for production teams.
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
