About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead – Sourcing & Procurement to drive end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing for our custom machine-building business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation, capital equipment, or machine manufacturing, with expertise in vendor development, procurement planning, material management, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement for mechanical, electrical, electronic, and bought-out components.
Develop and manage a solid supplier network for custom machine manufacturing.
Drive vendor identification, evaluation, onboarding, negotiations, and performance management.
Plan material procurement based on production schedules and Engineering BOM.
Ensure timely material availability to support assembly and customer delivery commitments.
Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Projects, and Service teams for seamless execution.
Manage inventory, procurement planning, alternate sourcing, and supply risk mitigation.
Handle import procurement and logistics coordination where required.
Implement procurement best practices,



supplier KPIs, and continuous cost optimization initiatives.
Lead and mentor the sourcing team while improving procurement processes.

Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain within manufacturing.
Experience in Industrial Automation, Machine Building, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Capital Equipment, Robotics, or Electronics Manufacturing is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience in vendor development, strategic sourcing, procurement planning, ERP/MRP systems, and commercial negotiations.
Solid analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
