Responsible for the activities of a product development team having overall responsibility for planning, & budgeting.

Responsible for the activities related to the design, prototype development, material selection,supplier coordination, and final validation testing to ensure delivery of high quality products and processes that meet the required specifications.

Makes certain all design control procedures and company procedures are followed during product development.

Sets performance expectations with the team and ensures that these expectations are clearly communicated and understood.

Ensures the team possesses the appropriate mix and level of skills required to develop and deliver high quality products in a dynamic growth workplace.

Works collaboratively with cross-functional groups to help streamline the product development process.

Prepares product development schedules and ensures that realistic performance standards are realistically set and attained.





Understands customer needs and along with senior management expectations, helps define short- and long-term product development strategy.
