We are seeking a skilled HCC Coder Certified professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical diagnoses and procedures in accordance with HCC guidelines, ensuring compliance and quality in our coding practices. This role requires a strong understanding of coding regulations and the ability to collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance documentation.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures according to HCC guidelines.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM codes to medical diagnoses and procedures based on clinical documentation.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with coding standards and to identify areas for improvement.




- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies.
- Stay updated with coding regulations, guidelines, and changes in HCC coding practices.

Skills and Qualifications
- Certified HCC Coder (CHCC) certification is required.
- Robust knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding conventions and guidelines.
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
