Job DescriptionIndustry NAluminium Extrusion | Solar Frames | Aluminium Value-Added Products | Manufacturing NJob SummarynWe are looking for a highly accomplished General Manager – Operations to lead the end-to-end operations of two aluminium extrusion manufacturing plants producing aluminium extrusion profiles, solar frames, and other value-added aluminium products. NThe incumbent will be responsible for driving operational excellence across manufacturing, extrusion, anodizing, powder coating, fabrication, maintenance, quality, planning, logistics, and safety while ensuring optimum productivity, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth. NKey Responsibilitiesn N Lead and manage operations across two manufacturing plants, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations. N Oversee aluminium extrusion, ageing, anodizing, powder coating, fabrication, packaging, and dispatch operations. N Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. N Develop production plans to meet customer demand and delivery commitments. N Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, recovery, yield, and capacity utilization. N Minimize scrap, rework,downtime, and manufacturing costs through continuous improvement initiatives. N Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and plant availability. N Ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer specifications, statutory regulations, and EHS requirements. N Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence initiatives. N Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth business operations.



N Monitor production KPIsand implement corrective actions to improve operational performance. N Lead capacity expansion, process automation, and plant modernization projects. N Manage plant budgets, manufacturing costs, and resource utilization to achieve profitability targets. N Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning. N Foster a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across both plants. NnDesired Candidate Profile Nn Bachelor's Degreein Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. N MBA/PGDM is preferred. N 18–25 years of manufacturing experience, including 7+ years in a senior operations leadership role. N Proven experience managing multiple manufacturing plants. N Strong experience in Aluminium Extrusion, Solar Frames, Anodising, Powder Coating, Fabrication, and Value-Added Aluminium Products. N Hands-on knowledge of extrusion presses, dies, billet heating, ageing furnaces, anodizing lines, powder coating lines, fabrication processes, and packaging operations. N Robust understanding ofLean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, OEE, and World-Class Manufacturing (WCM). N Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. N Excellent leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and stakeholder management skills.
