Role Description The Psychology Specialist will work on-site at Loknaat & Associates Mind Care Group in Thiruvananthapuram in a contract capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, facilitating structured interventions and programs, and supporting clients in developing emotional regulation and focused thinking.
The role involves designing and delivering psychoeducational sessions, documenting case progress, and collaborating with the team to refine frameworks based on psychological science.
The Psychology Specialist will also contribute to initiatives like Better Me Academy and Level Up Life by providing expert input on curriculum, participating in workshops, and ensuring ethical, client-centered practice.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Psychology, with the ability to apply psychological principles to behavioral transformation and personal development.
- Experience with Psychological Testing, including administering, scoring, and interpreting standardized assessments.
- Excellent Communication skills to engage clients, deliver psychoeducational content, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge and practical understanding of Mental Health, including awareness of ethical guidelines and referral practices when needed.
- Background in Education or training design, preferably in developing and delivering structured programs or workshops.
- Relevant degree in Psychology or Clinical/Counseling Psychology; postgraduate qualifications or licensing/registration are an advantage.
- Prior experience in clinical, counseling, or educational settings, particularly in behavior change or skills training programs.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, respect confidentiality, and uphold professional and ethical standards.
- Strong observational skills, critical thinking, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
