Job DescriptionAbout the Role NThe Department Head – Hospitality & Industry Partnerships will lead the development of an industry-connected hospitality school that prepares students for careers across hospitality, tourism, luxury, events, and experience-led industries. NThis role combines academic leadership with robust industry engagement to build a future-ready learning ecosystem through internships, apprenticeships, live industry projects, and placement partnerships. NKey ResponsibilitiesnAcademic Leadership Nn Support curriculum implementation and continuous improvement. N Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty members. N Drive teaching excellence and academic quality. N Ensure strong student learning outcomes. NnIndustry Engagement Nn Build and strengthen relationships with leading hospitality brands. N Develop internship and apprenticeship opportunities. N Facilitate live industry projects and experiential learning initiatives. N Foster long-term partnerships with industry stakeholders. NnEmployability & Placements Nn Build and manage a strong placement pipeline. N Engage recruiters across hospitality, tourism, luxury, and related sectors. N Organize career fairs, networking events, and employer engagement activities.



N Expand the institution's employer network to enhance student career opportunities. NnProgramme Development Nn Identify emergingtrends in the hospitality and tourism industry. N Recommend new programs and specializations aligned with industry needs. N Support the developmentof innovative, experience-driven learning initiatives. NnExternal Relations Nn Represent the institution at hospitality forums, conferences, and industry events. N Build strategic partnerships with hotels, luxury brands, tourism organizations, and other industry partners. N Strengthen the institution's visibility within the hospitality ecosystem. NnIdeal Candidate Nn 10–15 years of experience in hospitality education leadership or the hospitality industry. N Strong network within the hospitality, tourism, luxury, or events sectors. N Proven experience in building internship and placement programs. N Demonstrated ability tocollaborate with industry partners. N Passion for experiential learning and industry-integrated education. N Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. N
