Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP FS-RI Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Reinsurance (FS-RI) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess deep functional knowledge of reinsurance processes, including treaty and facultative business, ceded and assumed reinsurance, and related accounting processes. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, participating in transformation and migration programs, and supporting end-to-end project delivery across global environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, design, and implement solutions in SAP FS-RI (Reinsurance).
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
- Configure and support reinsurance processes including:
- Treaty Reinsurance
- Facultative Reinsurance
- Ceded Reinsurance
- Assumed Reinsurance

- Support reinsurance accounting, financial control, and reporting processes.
- Participate in transformation, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and business process documentation.
- Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
- Work effectively in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.




- Provide production support and resolve functional issues within defined SLAs.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of SAP experience.
- 24 years of hands-on experience in SAP FS-RI (Reinsurance).
- Robust understanding of:
- Treaty Reinsurance
- Facultative Reinsurance
- Ceded Reinsurance
- Assumed Reinsurance

- Knowledge of Reinsurance Accounting and Financial Control processes.
- Experience in migration, implementation, rollout, or support projects.
- Strong business analysis and requirement gathering skills.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and process documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with SAP Insurance modules or broader Financial Services domain.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Knowledge of SAP FI/CO integration.
- Experience with data migration, testing, or reporting tools.
- Prior client-facing consulting experience in global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- SAP FS-RI certification is a plus.
- Insurance or Reinsurance domain experience is highly preferred.
