Role & responsibilities

The Luxury Retail Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of store operations while delivering an exceptional luxury customer experience. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building long-term client relationships, developing high-performing teams, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring operational excellence. The Store Manager acts as the brand ambassador, creating memorable experiences that drive customer loyalty and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive selling and client engagement.
- Monitor daily sales performance and implement action plans.
- Increase Average Bill Value (ABV), Units Per Transaction (UPT), and conversion rates.
- Maximize profitability while managing store expenses.
- Analyze sales reports and identify business opportunities.

2. Luxury Customer Experience

- Deliver a world-class customer experience aligned with luxury brand standards.
- Build meaningful relationships with high-value customers.
- Handle VIP clientele with professionalism and discretion.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly while protecting the brand image.
- Ensure every customer journey exceeds expectations.
- Drive repeat business through personalized service.

3. Clienteling & Relationship Management

- Build and maintain a strong client database.
- Encourage appointment selling and private consultations.
- Conduct follow-ups after purchases.
- Celebrate customer milestones and special occasions.




- Drive customer retention and loyalty initiatives.
- Generate referrals from existing customers.

4. Team Leadership & People Development

- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop store associates.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
- Train teams on luxury selling techniques.
- Foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Motivate employees through recognition and coaching.
- Manage staffing schedules and workforce planning.

5. Store Operations

- Ensure smooth daily store operations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor stock movement and replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and audit requirements.
- Oversee cash management and billing accuracy.

6. Visual Merchandising

- Execute VM guidelines.
- Maintain premium product presentation.
- Coordinate seasonal launches.
- Refresh displays regularly.
- Ensure the store workplace reflects luxury standards.

7. Inventory Management

- Monitor stock levels.
- Minimize shrinkage and losses.
- Conduct periodic stock audits.
- Coordinate transfers between stores.
- Forecast inventory requirements.

8. Brand Representation

- Uphold brand values in every customer interaction.
- Ensure impeccable personal grooming.
- Maintain store ambience and presentation.
- Represent the brand during events and promotions.
- Build the store's reputation within the local market.

9. Compliance & Administration

- Ensure legal and company compliance.
- Maintain operational documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
- Manage vendor coordination where required.
