Key Responsibilities

1. Core QMS Governance & Certification Ownership

- Act as the Management Representative (MR) or core lead for establishing, implementing, and continually improving the plant's QMS under IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 guidelines.
- Lead and manage the entire external audit process hosted by certification bodies (e.g., TUV, DNV, Bureau Veritas) and global Tier-1/OEM clients, ensuring zero major non-conformances (NCs).
- Drive the expansion or transition of management systems if required, including ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety).

2. Internal Auditing & Non-Conformance Tracking (CAPA)

- Structure, schedule, and execute the annual plant internal audit calendar, covering System Audits, Manufacturing Process Audits (VDA 6.3 guidelines), and Product Audits (VDA 6.5).
- Log, track, and verify the closing of all internal, supplier, and customer-raised non-conformances using structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone Analysis).
- Issue systematic Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and conduct regular horizontal deployment checks across other production lines to prevent defect recurrence.

3. Documentation Control & Core Automotive Tools Integration





- Own the entire Document Control Center (DCC)-managing master lists, engineering change notes (ECN/ECR), standard operating procedures (SOP), and plant work instructions.
- Conduct regular reviews of APQP documentation, Process Flow Diagrams, Process FMEAs (PFMEA), and Control Plans to ensure they exactly mirror floor operations.
- Review statistical trends alongside the operations team, ensuring proper deployment of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis).

Experience: 7 to 12 years of focused experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) strictly within an automotive component manufacturing or high-precision engineering industry.

Mandatory Certifications: Certified Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor for IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. Working exposure to VDA 6.3 process auditing is highly preferred.

Core Competencies:

- Command over AIAG-VDA Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Software Tools: High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation modules within ERP systems (SAP QM module preferred).
