About the Role

The Organic Medicinal Farms of Monticello supplies premium, processed raw ingredients to the global wellness, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and functional food industries.We are seeking a visionary VP / Global Director to spearhead the design, scaling, and operational management of our global indoor and outdoor cultivation facilities. You will launch and oversee operations across North America (starting in the US), Asia, and Central/South America. This role manages regional Cultivation Managers, ensures rigorous cGMP/organic certifications, and oversees high-value medicinal crops including alfalfa, ginseng, echinacea, and commercial cannabis (hemp/marijuana).

Core Responsibilities

- Global Operations: Design and scale commercial indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse farm facilities across global territories.
- Crop Management: Oversee all phases of propagation, cloning, vegetative growth, flowering, harvesting, curing, and extraction.
- Agri-Tech & Climate: Manage automated fertigation, environmental controls, HVAC, and lighting technologies for complex indoor facilities.
- Compliance & Data:



Enforce strict cGMP regulations, secure organic certifications, and manage seed-to-sale compliance systems (METRC).
- Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead diverse international cultivation teams and facility managers.

Key Requirements

- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Agricultural Sciences, Botany, or Agronomy.
- 10+ years leading commercial-scale, multi-regional botanical or cannabis cultivation.
- Deep technical expertise in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), plant nutrition, and facility automation.
- Proven track record navigating strict federal, state, and international agricultural licensing requirements.
- Exceptional leadership skills capable of managing cross-functional global teams.
