Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Fashion Merchant to manage product development, buyer coordination, and order execution within the textile and garment industry. The candidate will act as a bridge between buyers, design, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products aligned with market trends and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle buyer communication and manage client relationships effectively.
- Understand buyer requirements and coordinate with design and production teams.
- Follow up on sampling, approvals, and bulk production processes.
- Manage order execution from development to final delivery.
- Coordinate with sourcing teams for fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Ensure timely shipment and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with buyer standards.
- Analyze market trends and provide inputs for product development.




- Maintain proper documentation related to orders, costing, and approvals.
- Resolve any issues related to production, quality, or delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Designing, Textile, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in merchandising within the textile/garment industry.
- Solid understanding of garment production and supply chain processes.
- Experience in handling domestic or international buyers.
- Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and costing.

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising tools.
- Team coordination and multitasking abilities.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
