Job Summary:
A Furniture Fitter installs, assembles, and fits furniture according to customer requirements and design specifications. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to use hand and power tools safely, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure furniture is installed securely and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble and install furniture such as wardrobes, cabinets, kitchen units, office furniture, beds, and shelving.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, installation instructions, and measurements.
- Measure installation areas to ensure accurate fitting.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Make on-site adjustments to ensure a precise fit.
- Repair, replace, or adjust damaged or faulty furniture components.
- Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate professionally with customers and address installation concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in furniture fitting, carpentry, or a related trade.




- Knowledge of furniture assembly techniques and installation methods.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license (if travel to customer sites is required).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Vocational training or certification in carpentry or furniture installation.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial furniture fitting.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Working Conditions:

- Work at customer locations, construction sites, or commercial premises.
- Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- May require travel and occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
