Role Overview:

Project Manager for wastewater treatment plant projects, responsible for end-to-end execution across planning, coordination, site management, client communication, reporting, and compliance.

Location: Dombivali, Mumbai

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical / Electrical engineering and wastewater treatment plant projects. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, including planning, coordination, client interaction, progress monitoring, and reporting, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Execution

- Plan, execute, and deliver wastewater treatment plant projects, including WWTP, STP, and ETP works.
- Prepare detailed project schedules using Bar Charts, MS Project, or Primavera.
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and progress-monitoring requirements.

Mechanical & Electrical Coordination

- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of pumps, blowers, screens, clarifiers, panels, MCCs, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil teams to ensure proper system integration during execution.

Client Coordination

- Act as the single point of contact for clients, stakeholders, queries, approvals, and technical clarifications.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure client satisfaction in line with contract requirements.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

- Track project progress using bar charts, Gantt charts, and daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Prepare MIS reports, progress updates, delay analysis, and recovery plans.




- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.

Documentation & Compliance

- Manage technical submittals, drawings, BOQs, method statements, inspection reports, and test certificates.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain execution continuity.
- Review vendor deliverables, ensure timely material supply, and monitor subcontractor performance.

Site Management & Execution

- Supervise on-site activities, workmanship quality, installation, trial runs, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and HSE practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Project management certification (PMP/Prince2) – Preferred

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of WWTP/STP/ETP processes
- Experience in EPC projects

Expertise in:

- Project scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera)
- Bar chart preparation & tracking
- Solid client handling and communication skills
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Preferred Experience

- Handling projects from design to commissioning Experience
- Experience in industrial or municipal wastewater plants
- Exposure to automation systems (PLC/SCADA)

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
