Role Purpose- nnResponsible to protect workers from job-related injuries and illnesses, identify and mitigate physical, chemical and biological hazards in the workplace as well as improving training and communications that clearly explain the company objectives for promoting a safe and healthy workspace. nnnnnRoles u0026 Responsibilities- nn- Make the yearly safety calendar in order to improve the safety activities nn- Execute risk assessment u0026 KYT (Danger prediction) process as per the plan to control/minimize the positional hazard in the process nn- Co-ordinate with the respective department head to set the safety process parameters nn- Organize monthly departmental audits for all the plants in order to ensure protected practices u0026 environment for the employees nn- Conduct the plant safety inspection/safety patrol throughout the plant to ensure to identify/minimize the unsafe acts /condition nn- Prepare the safety manual and update on frequent intervals in order to ensure the correct safety standard nn- Implement the work permit system in order to regulate the non-routine works nn- Ensure quality and availability of PPE nn- Design and conduct safety training and educational programmes for the prevention of personal injuries and safety awareness nn- Organize safety and environmental awareness trainings for all the operators/ staff (new joinees) nn- Conduct trainings as per requirement of the organization regards to safety, environmental, awareness and induction trainings to all employees nn- Investigate all accidents and near miss incidents to avoid them in the future nn- Coordinate with all departments to provide assistance in analyse all accidents and take countermeasures nn- Support u0026 co-ordinate smooth functioning safety committee and tool box/communication meetings nn- Execute the all applicable legal compliance related to local /state level safety laws nn- Prepare u0026 execute annual 5s plan in order to improve the 5s standards nn- Support the general administration activities nnnnnDesired Industry / Functional Exposure- nnKnowledge about the Safe practices, Safety u0026 Environmental standards, legal requirements, Communication Skills, Presentation skills nnnnnMust have key areas- nnSafety System, Safety trainings, Accident reporting u0026 Investigation, Safety Committee, Legal compliance, 5s system, Administration nnnnnRole Requirements- nn-B.E./B.Tech./Diploma- Mechanical + Diploma- Safety/HSE (must have) nn-8-12 years of total experience nn-Industry Exposure- Manufacturing/Auto/Chemical .
