Job Category Power Generation Transmission Distribution About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world-class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large-scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG-rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Adani Power Limited APL Adani Power Limited APL a part of the diversified Adani Group is the largest private thermal power producer in India We have a power generation capacity of 15 250 MW comprising thermal power plants in Gujarat Maharashtra Karnataka Rajasthan Chhattisgarh Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand and a 40 MW solar power project in Gujarat Job Purpose This role involves managing resources and operations for Boiler Rotary equipment including timely notifications for equipment availability spare parts issuance and execution of annual and capital overhauls within budget and manpower constraints Additionally this role encompasses reporting and documentation responsibilities such as preparing RCA FMEA ZFO reports maintaining equipment history records verifying attendance and quantities raising purchase requests and drafting Standard Maintenance Procedures for review Responsibilities Lead Mechanical Boiler Rotary Resource and Operational Management Timely execution of notifications to ensure availability of Boiler Rotary equipment issue spares from stores and ensure availability at the site Execute AOH Annual Overhaul and COH Capital Overhaul within budgets and allotted manpower Provide inputs for Budget preparation for Boiler Rotary equipment Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the boiler area Support Team Lead in Quality Check and review material and equipment procurement Support in skill development of Technicians and business associates Reporting and Documentation Prepare reports as per inputs from Team Leads Section Heads for RCA Root Cause Analysis FMEA Failure Modes and Effects Analysis ZFO Zero Failure Operations and Technical audits Maintain history records of all equipment in the boiler area Support Team Leads Section Heads for attendance and quantity verification Raise PRs as directed and approved by Team Leads Prepare AOH COH reports as directed by Team Leads and Section Head Preparation of draft SMPs for the area and send Team Leads for review Business Sustainability Implement and Follow IMS AWMS DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department Monitor and ensure safety of contract personnel and equipment through proper training and adherence to safety protocols Ensure compliance of notifications predictive preventive corrective Participate in structural training and audits for the boiler area conduct L2 and L3 trainings for all contractors and update in KRONOS Execute and send confirmation for safety compliances as per GENSUITE Digitization and Automation Support comprehensive digitization strategies to optimise operational efficiency Implement automation solutions to support overall organisational goals strategy Key Stakeholders - Internal Operations Maintenance Stores Support Functions Key Stakeholders - External Contractors Qualifications Educational Qualification B tech BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree related field from a recognized institution Work Experience Range of years 5 years of experience in power plant maintenance with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing boiler rotary equipment Preferred Industry Experience in the thermal power generation industry specifically with expertise in the operation and maintenance of coal-fired power plants
