Job Title Lecturer - Renal Dialysis Department Allied Health Sciences Renal Dialysis Technology Reporting To Head of the Department Principal Job Summary The Lecturer in Renal Dialysis will be responsible for teaching guiding and mentoring students in the Renal Dialysis Technology program The role involves delivering lectures conducting practical sessions supervising clinical training and ensuring that students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills related to renal replacement therapy and dialysis procedures Key Responsibilities Deliver lectures and practical demonstrations on subjects related to Renal Dialysis Technology including anatomy physiology renal diseases and dialysis procedures Plan and prepare lesson plans course materials and assessment schedules in line with university or institutional guidelines Supervise students during clinical postings and coordinate with hospitals or dialysis centers for hands-on training Evaluate students performance through internal assessments practical exams and viva sessions Guide students in case studies research projects and seminars Maintain records of attendance academic progress and examination results Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control practices during practical sessions Participate in departmental meetings academic reviews workshops and curriculum development activities Support the Head of Department in academic planning and continuous quality improvement initiatives Stay updated with the latest advancements in nephrology and dialysis technology through continued education and professional development Qualifications and Experience B Sc in Renal Dialysis Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university Minimum 1-3 years of teaching or clinical experience in dialysis units or hospitals M Sc in Renal Dialysis Technology Allied Health Sciences Experience in academic coordination or clinical supervision Skills and Competencies Solid knowledge of renal physiology dialysis principles and equipment handling Excellent teaching communication and mentoring skills Ability to integrate theoretical and clinical aspects effectively Proficiency in using digital tools for teaching and student evaluation Commitment to academic excellence teamwork and professional ethics Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided
