Job Title: Staff Nurse (Day Care)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our day care team. In this role, you will provide essential healthcare services to young children, ensuring their health and safety in a nurturing setting. You will work closely with caregivers and parents to support the well-being and developmental needs of the children.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer medical care and first aid to children.
- Dispense medications and manage ongoing treatments.
- Monitor and document children’s health and any changes.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
- Communicate with parents about their child’s health.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records.




- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Degree from a recognized institution.
- Certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- GNM diploma or equivalent nursing qualification.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent.
- Experience in pediatric care or similar childcare settings.
- Proficient in first aid and emergency response.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Caring and patient demeanor.
