We're Hiring! | AR Caller (Physician Billing & Hospital Billing)

Greetings from Sutherland Global Services We are looking for experienced AR Callers to join our team. We are hiring for Physician Billing(CMS-1500) AND Hospital Billing (UB04).

Experience - 1.5 years to 3 years package - 3.5 LPA TO 5LPA shift - 6:00 PM TO 3:00 AM (night shifts)

Roles & Responsibilities

Initiate outbound calls to insurance companies to check the status of claims

Follow up on outstanding balances on patient accounts

Take appropriate actions based on claim status

Maintain professional communication with a neutral accent

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and submit professional (CMS-1500) claims accurately.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
- Review medical documentation for billing accuracy.
- Submit electronic claims through clearinghouses.
- Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid, rejected, or denied claims.
- Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA).
- Process claim corrections, resubmissions, and appeals.
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
- Work on Accounts Receivable (AR) to reduce outstanding balances.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines.




- Coordinate with coding teams and providers to resolve documentation or coding discrepancies.
- Maintain productivity and quality metrics while documenting all billing activities.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of the US Physician Billing & Hospital Billing process.
- Understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding concepts.
- Knowledge of CMS-1500 & ub04 claim forms.
- Experience with denial management and AR follow-up.
- Familiarity with EOBs, ERA, and payer portals.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Kareo, eClinicalWorks, Cerner)

Desired Candidate Profile Graduation mandatory all the documents from your previous organizations are mandatory.

Excellent English communication skills

Willing to work Work From Office (WFO)
