PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS The Senior Specialist, Product Management is accountable for defining product vision and strategy, ensuring delivery of customer-centric solutions across multiple ARTs, and driving collaboration between engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders. This role operates with high independence, sets strategic goals, and makes decisions impacting multiple functions globally.

Product

Vision & Strategy (25%): Define and execute a customer-centric product strategy and roadmap aligned with global business objectives; establish ART-level success metrics.

Backlog

Management & Prioritization (30%): Own and refine high-impact product backlogs; drive PI planning and feature readiness to ensure alignment with delivery commitments. Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%): Partner with engineering, architecture, and global business teams to deliver scalable solutions; influence technical decisions to align with product strategy.

Stakeholder

Engagement & Communication (15%): Provide transparent product updates, risk assessments, and timelines to leadership; drive alignment across multiple ARTs and global teams. Leadership & Mentorship (10%): Coach and mentor product managers; champion agile best practices, process optimization, and innovative problem-solving across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS &

EXPERIENCE Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Valuable Added Education: Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Engineering/Technology Management) is desirable.

Certifications in Agile, Secure, or Product Management (e.g., CSPO, AIPMM) add value.

Specific Knowledge and Work Experience Required: Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, agile methodologies, and SAFe framework. Proven experience in backlog management, PI planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of aviation connectivity solutions, software integration, and customer experience optimization is a plus. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and influence architectural decisions.

Minimum Years of Experience: 12+ years of progressive experience in the software industry, 5+ years of experience in Product Management related roles.

Experience managing global teams and ART-level initiatives is essential. OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS Delivery Excellence: Proven track record of meeting PI commitments on time,



reducing backlog churn, and improving overall execution predictability.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Engineering, Architecture, and Program Management to align on technical solution design and ART objectives. Customer-Centric Focus: Experience collaborating with Sales and Customer Success teams to validate product-market fit and drive high customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores.

Operational Readiness: Capable of coordinating with Operations and Support teams to ensure seamless feature deployments and robust post-launch support.
