Senior Executive – Public Relations (BFSI)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Executive – Public Relations with prior experience handling BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) clients. The ideal candidate should have strong media relationships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage day-to-day client servicing while contributing to strategic communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day communication and client servicing for BFSI accounts.

Develop press releases, media notes, bylined articles, thought leadership content, and other communication materials.

Build and maintain strong relationships with business, finance, and mainstream media.

Identify proactive media opportunities and secure quality media coverage.

Coordinate media interactions, interviews, press conferences, and leadership profiling.

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities,



and relevant news to identify communication opportunities.

Prepare media reports, campaign performance reports, and client updates.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and timely delivery.

Support senior team members in campaign planning, strategic initiatives, and new business pitches.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience in Public Relations with exposure to BFSI clients.

Solid understanding of the banking, financial services, insurance, fintech, or investment ecosystem.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Established media relations with business and financial journalists.

Experience in drafting high-quality PR content and managing media outreach.

Ability to manage multiple accounts and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
