Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions journey for online higher education programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels; conducting admissions counseling sessions to understand learner goals; and recommending suitable programs that align with their career aspirations. The role involves managing the end-to-end admissions cycle, including lead follow-up, application support, documentation review, and timely updates to candidates.

Counselor collaborates with academic and operations teams, maintains accurate records in admissions systems, meets enrollment targets, and provides a high standard of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all applicants.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to counsel prospective learners and collaborate with internal teams.

- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to deliver a supportive, responsive, and solutions-focused admissions experience.

- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert qualified leads, meet enrollment targets, and promote programs ethically and effectively.

- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in higher education, edtech, or academic counseling.

- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in admissions or counseling roles, proficiency with CRM or admissions management tools, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work with diverse learner populations.

- A bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred; relevant postgraduate qualifications in education, counseling, or business are an advantage.
