Person having worked in similar field will be prefered A Sales and Marketing Person for a steel trading company drives business growth by identifying new customers, managing relationships with dealers and industrial buyers, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets for products like TMT bars, coils, and sheets. They analyze market trends and provide reports. Key Responsibilities

- Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire current customers in the industrial and construction markets.
- Sales & Negotiation: Generate inquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales to meet monthly/annual targets.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and grow existing relationships with clients, dealers, and contractors to ensure repeat business.

- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to track competitors, steel pricing trends, and new opportunities.
- Reporting & Administration:



Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and forecast orders.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of material to customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience in sales/marketing, preferably within the steel, metals, or construction industry.

- Product Knowledge: Understanding of steel products (e.g., HR/CR Coils, Plates, Pipes, Structural Steel).
- Communication: Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and database management (CRM).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Common Requirements

- Willingness to travel for client meetings.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
