Role & responsibilities A Mechanical Engineering graduate (BE/B.Tech only, no diploma) with 35 years of solid QA/QC experience in engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, EPC, pressure vessels, piping, skids, chemical/refinery/power projects.

The person should independently handle:

Preparation of QAP (Quality Assurance Plan), Inspection Check Sheets, SOPs & Work Instructions

Vendor quality inspection and QAP review

Pressure vessel, piping, skid fabrication inspection

Welding inspection (WPS/PQR/WPQ knowledge)

Material inspection & MTC verification

NDT coordination (Level II – VT/RT/UT/DT)

ASME/API/ASTM/EN/IBR code knowledge

Customer inspection, quality audits, documentation & dossiers In short:

Need a core QA/QC Mechanical Engineer who can independently manage fabrication quality for EPC projects, not just a shop-floor inspector.
