Job Title - Junior Resident / Senior Resident / Assistant Professor / Professor
Department /Function - Radiodiagnosis Education: Medical A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super-speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Radiodiagnosis) or Master of Surgery (Radiodiagnosis) or Diplomate National Board (Radiodiagnosis) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Age: Not exceeding 45 years
Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) Certification - Should have completed the Basic course in Biomedical Research Main Job Tasks:
Student teaching & Mentorship Programme.
Teaching, Mentoring, Supervising undergraduate, graduate, post graduate students as per allocation
Teaching degree courses, including lectures; to ensure smooth and successful completion of the assigned official work entrusted to the department regarding teaching / academic work, clinical lab / clinical diagnostic work (wherever applicable) and in patient care (including supervision of diagnostic, curative services and rehabilitative care along with therapeutic care,
non-direct care - as applicable).
Providing academic leadership in both under-graduate and postgraduate courses in relevant fields of specialisation.
To conduct research work in the specialty in coordination with HOD; Research activities and research guidance and scientific publications.
Student evaluation and programme evaluation.
Developing resource material for teaching and learning.
Students’ Counselling
Leading / supporting and guiding students in their co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, maintenance of the department and other subordinate staff.
Contributing effectively in identifying live projects for the students wherever applicable, leading to laboratory modification and removal of obsolescence
Providing demonstrations and supervising experiments and investigations.
Answering questions in class or via email or telephone.
To help postgraduate students in preparation of dissertation and seminar / journal club as assigned by the HOD
Providing feedback on student progress to concerned designated authority.
Clinical
Responsibilities A Radiologist is a medical doctor who specialises in identifying and treating conditions using imaging equipment. They are especially trained in creating and interpreting pictures of areas inside the body. Radiologists diagnose diseases and disorders of the human system by studying X Ray pictures of affected parts or seeing it on a fluoroscopic screen. Checks patients for the nature of the complaint.
