Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Network Data L2 Engineer to join our team for the EOSL project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in switching and routing, with a proven track record of managing and troubleshooting network issues. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for network-related issues, focusing on switching and routing.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure optimal operation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions and enhancements.

Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and migrations.

Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network management.

Mandatory Skills

Routing, Switching, BGP, OSPF, Cisco Nexus, Catalyst Switches,



Decommissioning, EOL/EOSL - End of Life/End of Service life.

Strong expertise in switching and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).

Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.

Proficient in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).

Ability to analyze network traffic and performance metrics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with network security principles and practices.

Experience with cloud networking solutions.

Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

4 to 7 years of relevant experience in network engineering or support.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
