Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Men's Wear Merchandiser role based in Mumbai. The Men's Wear Merchandiser will plan and manage assortments, ranges, and seasonal collections for men's apparel, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and customer preferences.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design and production teams, selecting fabrics and trims, overseeing sampling, and ensuring products meet agreed quality and cost targets. The role involves monitoring sales performance, analyzing customer feedback, and adjusting merchandise plans to optimize inventory, margins, and sell-through. The Men's Wear Merchandiser will also work with suppliers, negotiate timelines and pricing,



and support visual presentation and promotion strategies in line with the merchandising calendar.

Qualifications

- Experience in men's wear merchandising or apparel merchandising, with a strong understanding of product categories such as shirts, trousers, denim, and casual wear.
- Knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, sizing, and quality standards relevant to men's fashion.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and plan assortments to balance trend, price, and inventory levels.
- Strong coordination and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented approach to managing samples, technical specifications, approvals, and production timelines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present merchandising plans and recommendations clearly.
- Proficiency with basic office and spreadsheet tools; experience with merchandising or inventory software is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion, Textile, Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred; relevant industry experience will also be considered.
- Ability to work in office in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to seasonal and market changes.
