Install, configure, administer, and support IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition

Design, deploy, and manage secure REST APIs for mainframe applications

Integrate z/OS Connect with CICS, IMS, Db2, MQ, and other enterprise systems

Configure WebSphere Liberty, server runtime, API providers/requesters, and service archives

Manage RACF/SAF security, TLS/SSL certificates, keystores, and authentication

Troubleshoot production issues, API failures, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity challenges

Support upgrades, DR activities, deployments, monitoring, and ITIL-based operations

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, architecture, middleware, and security teams to drive enterprise modernization Required Skills:

15+ years in Mainframe Administration with 10+ years of hands-on IBM z/OS Connect EE





Robust expertise in z/OS Connect installation, configuration, upgrades, and runtime administration

Deep knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, API Provider/Requester configuration

Strong experience integrating with CICS, IMS, Db2, MQ

Expertise in WebSphere Liberty Profile

Strong Mainframe administration skills: z/OS, SMP/E, JCL, JES2, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, TCP/IP

Hands-on experience with RACF, SAF, TLS/SSL, Certificate Management

Experience troubleshooting enterprise production environments and ITIL processes Preferred Skills:

Mainframe API Modernization & Hybrid Cloud Integration

Microservices & Enterprise Integration Patterns

DevOps & Automation in Mainframe Environments

API Performance Tuning & Capacity Planning
