Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Librarian to manage and maintain our library resources, ensuring seamless access to information for students, faculty, and staff. Responsibilities

- Organize, catalogue, and maintain library collections, including books, journals, and digital resources.

- Manage library inventory and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.

- Assist students, faculty, and staff with research and information retrieval.

- Implement and monitor library policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

- Promote reading and literacy through library programs,



events, and outreach initiatives.

- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and welcoming library space.

- Handle acquisitions, processing, and circulation of library materials.

- Utilize library management software for record-keeping and reporting.

Requirements

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib.I.Sc.) or a related field.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a library or information management role.

- Proficiency in library management systems and basic computer applications.

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with classification systems (e.g., Dewey Decimal or UDC).

- Willingness to work in a community-focused educational setting in Mohanpur, Begusarai, Bihar.
