Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Linux Device Driver Development Engineers based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The role involves designing, developing, and debugging Linux kernel and device drivers for various hardware platforms, ensuring reliable integration with embedded systems. Engineers will be responsible for low-level programming, performance optimization, and troubleshooting issues across drivers, kernel modules, and hardware interfaces.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams,



reviewing design specifications, writing and maintaining technical documentation, and participating in code reviews. The role may also require interaction with customers to understand requirements, provide technical support, and contribute to long-term project success.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Linux kernel and device driver development, including low-level C programming.

Proficiency with embedded systems, hardware interfaces (PCIe, I2C, SPI, USB, etc.), and board bring-up.

Solid understanding of operating system concepts, memory management, concurrency, and debugging tools (e.g., GDB, perf, strace).

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and standard software development practices.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Prior experience in semiconductor, embedded, or systems software domains is highly desirable.

Ability to work in office in the Greater Hyderabad Area and handle complex technical challenges independently.
