Position || Director - Finance Purpose The Director - Finance will serve as the strategic financial architect of the University, responsible for financial sustainability, governance, regulatory compliance, capital planning, and institutional risk management.

Reporting to the COO and working closely with the Founder’s Office and Board, the Director Finance will build financial systems, ensure operational discipline, and enable long-term institutional growth.

Responsibilities 1.

Financial

Strategy & Sustainability · Develop long-term financial models aligned with institutional growth · Drive budgeting, forecasting,



and scenario planning · Ensure financial sustainability across academic programs · Strategy for Identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risk 2. Governance, Compliance & Controls · Ensure statutory compliance (University regulations, taxation, audit norms) · Oversee internal and external audits · Establish strong financial controls and policies · Maintain risk registers and compliance dashboards 3. Capital & Infrastructure Planning · Lead capital expenditure planning for campus development · Manage treasury and working capital · Structure financial models for expansion initiatives · Support fundraising and endowment financial governance 4.

Financial

Operations & Systems · Oversee accounting, MIS, payroll, and procurement · Implement and streamline ERP/finance systems · Ensure timely reporting to leadership and Board · Create transparency in financial reporting 5. Team Leadership & Capability Building · Build and mentor a high-performing finance team · Develop SOPs and financial playbooks · Drive process discipline and operational efficiency
