We are looking for an experienced Payments Functional Architect to drive solution architecture, business analysis, and technology design for enterprise-scale payment processing and corporate banking platforms.

Responsibilities

- Design end-to-end solution architecture for payment processing and corporate banking platforms.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, and high-level solution designs.
- Define integration architecture across payment platforms and enterprise banking systems.
- Collaborate with business, product, architecture, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive architecture governance, solution reviews, and technology assessments.
- Design solutions supporting real-time and cross-border payments.
- Provide domain expertise across payment ecosystems, clearing & settlement, and transaction banking.
- Support large-scale banking transformation and modernization initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.




- 10 years of experience in Banking Technology or Financial Services Technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing enterprise-scale payment processing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems including SWIFT, SEPA, RTP, ACH, UPI, and cross-border payment flows.
- Experience in Solution Architecture, API-based integrations, Microservices, and Enterprise Banking platforms.
- Good understanding of Corporate Banking products including Payments, Liquidity Management, Trade Finance, Loans, and Virtual Accounts.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- TOGAF certification will be an added advantage.
