Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fragrance Development Specialist to join our R&D; team. This role involves conceptualizing, developing, and refining fragrances for our cosmetic, skincare, and oral care product lines. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with creative innovation to craft signature scents that align with brand identity, consumer preferences, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

✔Develop and modify fragrance formulations for skincare, cosmetics, and oral care products.

✔Collaborate with the R&D;, marketing, and product development teams to translate brand concepts into market-ready fragrances.

✔Conduct sensory evaluations, fragrance stability testing, and olfactory assessments.

✔Research fragrance trends, raw materials, and innovative aromatic compounds.

✔Ensure compliance with IFRA standards, safety regulations, and regional market requirements.

✔Maintain precise formulation records and technical documentation.

✔Work with suppliers to source and evaluate fragrance raw materials.

✔Optimize formulations for cost, performance, and sensory appeal.

✔Participate in consumer testing and feedback analysis for fragrance performance.

Qualifications

✔Expertise in fragrance formulation and sensory evaluation.

✔Strong knowledge of raw materials, essential oils, and aromatic compounds.

✔Understanding of IFRA guidelines and cosmetic regulatory compliance.

✔Proficiency in stability testing and product compatibility analysis.

✔3–7 years of experience in fragrance development, preferably within the cosmetics, skincare, or oral care industry.

✔Experience working with both natural and synthetic fragrance compounds.
