We are looking for a highly motivated Export-Import Business Development Executive who has hands-on experience in identifying international buyers using tools like Volza and other export intelligence platforms. The ideal candidate should be skilled in researching global markets, generating qualified leads, and helping expand our international customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and generate verified international buyers using Volza and similar trade intelligence platforms.
Conduct market research to find potential importers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Use effective lead generation and sales research techniques to build high-quality buyer databases.
Verify buyer credibility and collect relevant contact details.
Research import trends, competitors, and target markets.
Maintain and update CRM or lead tracking sheets.
Coordinate with the sales team to support outreach campaigns.
Recommend new tools, databases,
and strategies to improve buyer acquisition.
Required Skills
Solid experience using Volza for export-import research.
Knowledge of platforms such as ImportYeti, Panjiva, Trade Map, Alibaba, Global Sources, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar buyer discovery tools.
Excellent internet research and data analysis skills.
Understanding of international trade, HS Codes, and import-export documentation.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in export-import business development or international sales.
Experience working with exporters, manufacturers, or trading companies.
Ability to independently identify and qualify high-potential international buyers.
