Job Summary The EHS Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a secure and sustainable workplace. The role includes managing pollution control systems, hazardous waste, statutory compliance, environmental monitoring, and liaison with regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the operation, maintenance, and performance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to ensure efficient functioning and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health,
and safety regulations.
- Handle Hazardous Waste Management (HWM) activities as per statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) for statutory compliance and inspections.
- Prepare and file statutory returns and maintain compliance records.
- Maintain EHS documentation, registers, and reports.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and promote safe work practices.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
- Support EHS training and awareness programs for employees.
